Monarchs Gymnastics Club is a growing, friendly club based at King Alfred's Sports Centre in Highbridge, near Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset. The club is run by Head Coach Tony Merrett, who is also the South West and Regional Acrobatics Coach, along with qualified coaches Mandy Warburton, Naomi Baskwill and Mandy McArdle. In addition to holding the relevant coaching qualifications, all coaches attend regular coaching courses to maintain high standards.
We also have three parent coaches - Jan Goodyear, Lyndsey Sylvester and Donna Cator - who help with the younger gymnasts with the support and supervision of the qualified coaches.
We have qualified judges who regularly judge at regional competitions as well as competitions abroad.
